Recent testing for Asian Carp eDNA returned 17 positives out of 114 water samples taken from the Little Calumet River and Lake Calumet in Chicago, both of which are above the electric barrier meant to keep the invasive fish out of Lake Michigan.

An increasing percentage of eDNA samples, taken near Lake Michigan, are turning up positive for carp.
