Inland Seas, based out of the Grand Traverse Bay, is a 77-foot schoolship that is modeled after Pete Seeger’s educational program aboard the Clearwater sloop on the Hudson River. ISEA offers hands-on science education experiences, as well as maritime history and overnight astronomy sails on the Great Lakes.
