Chinese Artists Portray Three Gorges Emigration

China’s Three Gorges hydroelectric dam project on the Yangtze River has displaced some four million people. Now four of the country’s artists have come together to visually communicate the dam’s profound impact on China’s populous, as well as its landscape. Their work is on exhibit at the University of Chicago’s Smart Museum of Art from October through January.
